I'm having surgery tomorrow to have a kidney tumor removed. I haven't had the energy to do any shooting lately so here's a wacky rework of a shot from last year...

You must be going through quite an emotional roller coaster. Hope when the tumor is removed that will be the end of it.

Even though I don't always reply to your posts I look at most and they provide very postivie inspiration.

You WILL be posting your second-by-second op pictures, right?

Since you're likely to be a bit woozy I'd recommend the 8mm fisheye or 7-14 for maximum depth-of field, and turn on the IS to compensate for that tremor.

My wife is going to bring me my E-1 and 14-54mm once I'm in recovery and semi-awake. Hopefully I won't be putting the weather-resistance to the test... ewwww! ;-)
