Hi Greg,Hey Dirk - thanks for commenting. Yeah the D1x is nice, but I've
seen lovely images come out of the S1 (yours for example). Just
make sure you go with what suits your style and approach best. In
my case, I like the F5/F100 body style on the D1x - the controls
and such are a good fit for me. Of course the image quality is nice
too ;-)
Hi Greg,Well it helps that you've already got a bunch of Nikon glass! Of
course Canon and others are making exceptional digicam SLR's as
well and they are certainly worth a look.
For film I use an Imacon Flextight Photo, which can scan 4x5 negs
as well as medium and 35mm formats. Once I can afford it, I'll get
digital backs for my RZ and Sinar, until then it's the D1x and
Imacon.
