I was shooting at 80 ISO with a 1 second exposure, I had a linear polarizer on which cut down on the light and allowed me to take a longer exposure. The camera was sitting on one of those little travel tripods that you can put in your pocket.

The water picture is amazing: congratulations! I was wandering if one could achieve the same result with another point and shoot... Maybe I will never know but congratulations again!

Perhaps so, it just requires a tripod and a longer exposure. I am not sure if the detail and colors would be as rich, but who knows?

Nice shots. Did you use the built in ND filter that will drop a few stops of light too, on top of the polarizer?
