As a nothing knower from birds, I like them and like to see beautiful pictures of them. I like this one, he seems so fragile and tender, I'm afraid that others will attack him. I like also the information you give, so I learn a little bit of them, here where I reside I never see rare birds, I see always the same kind of birds (about 5 kinds)

Thanks Dirk, this is an Eastern Bluebird , although they are not endangered they are declining in numbers due to loss of habitat, and other modern day problems. This is a favorite of many people a symbol of happiness and I feel real lucky having them stop in my yard. DL
