Please excuse me for shamelessly tooting my own horn, if but softly.

I was very pleased to be informed that three images from my website
were selected for inclusion in the March 13th edition of "The Art
of Internet Photography" by Ken Windsor. This is an ezine featured
on the arts portal site "The Quill in Focus."

You can see The Quill in Focus site at:

And if you wish to check out the Art of Internet Photography
edition in which my images are mentioned, you can go here:

It feels very nice to receive such pleasant and unexpected feedback.

Best wishes,

David,

Well deserved accolades as you have been such a great contributor in all aspects of this art as well as a generally nice guy! I hope you get more such honors in the future. I appreciate you sharing this with us as it serves to give amateurs, such as myself, a greater goal to "shoot" for. Plus we know you're shameless! ;-)

Toot away friend, you're quite worthy of the recognition! (Uh, for
an OLD guy... ;-) ) Better yet, email one of us next time and
we'll toot for you. Congratulations!

Say "Hello" to your little friend, Riki Tiki Tavi... :-)

PS I really like the last one IM05... It's fascinating in terms of
curves, light, and textures. How quickly we classify things as
mundane and overlook them -banish them to mediocrity.
Hi Gerald my good friend,

Thank you very much.

And of course......oldness and mediocrity are exactly my specialties!

Great to hear from you.

Best wishes,

You earned it!!! Good job. Congrat to ya.
If I wore a hat I'd take it off!
Way to go.

Hi Kee,

Thank you....that's very kind.

I often wear a hat.....but when I remove it people are blinded by the reflections off my poor bald head!

Best wishes,

Congratulations. Must be nice to be recognized in that way. I
checked out the site. Pretty nice.

I also looked at your site. I've looked at it before, but I don't
remember some of the photos. Hate to bring a personal question
into this, but where do you live? Some of the pictures look like
Vermont, but a few look like New Hampshire.

Anyway, I enjoyed them all.
Hi Trent,

Thank you. Yes....it does feel nice. And thanks for the compliments.

I'm located in north central Vermont. NH is lovely, too, as you well know.....but none of the images on the site are from the Granite State.

(Unfortunately, none are from Paris, either!)

Best wishes,

David
