Had my G7 for about 7 months now and I am astounded at the quality it produces. Bit of dirt on the sensor but it's minor. Handles macro very well esp. with manual focus. Sure beats my old, trusty 330 elph which I took over 8000 shots with. Here is a link to my site http://www.pbase.com/pajamacat/new_g7_photos

You have a very versatile choice of subjects, and many excellent images. Of them all, if I had to pick a favorite, I'd choose "leaves". Thanks for posting.

Hi!
I'm considering G7 purchase

Looking at your photos some of them are very grainy... Did you take them at ISO higher than 200-400?

otherwise, exelent photos!

I might of. I sometimes forget that I have 400 iso on, but I rarely use 800, 1600 or 3200. Many were processed in photoshop an sharpened for the web. I found 80,100 and 200 nice. At night when the light is weak as the times square pix are I use 400. I don't mind that there are blurred or a bit grainy. Adds to the effect.
