Yes, without having had the benefit of using NN, all the tests I've read have NN and NI at the top of the list.

As entioned though when push comes to shove they all seem to vote NI as the better, if only marginally.

Using the GX100 I've taken some configuration photos and created profiles in both Noise Ninja and Neat Image for each ISO setting. Below are some comparison shots between the two packages. Please excuse the blurry photos, light levels were very low and I was in a hurry.

In my opinion they both preserve the same amount of detail, but Neat Image removes more noise. However Neat Image does take twice as long to run.

I am still learning lots from the helpful Ricohnauts here, and enjoying using my R6.

I have taken a look at Neat Image and see that it is possible to import Profile files, the latest of which for the R-series, is R5.
