There is one made by Fujifilm, the one that ships with all S5 bodies. The Finepix Studio program can be lauched from the FinePixViewer program (not from the FinePixViewer version that is freely downloadable, so I do not have it myself since I have a S3... but numerous times it has been posted here that the version that is shipped on CD with S5 has a fully functional RAW converter that has the difference that you can not use film simulation modes or use tethered shooting - both of which I have actually never used with my S3...).

And Fuji converters give VARY much better results with S3 / S5 RAW files than any 3rd party converters (better detail, clear difference, even I would there to be real competition in this field).

Regards,

that one was so obvious, i forgot to mention it :)

yes, it is the best, but it is horribly and painfully S-L-O-W.

Unfortunately I have access to only one mac at the moment (g4) & the speed is not short of terrible. Even my 4+ year old AMD 2100 runs PS faster; but this is a Mac only software.
Did you compare it in any way to say, CS3? or maybe Fuji's own convertors?

Thanks.

No good! Mac only....yuck, I want speeeed.
rwong. Macs/OSx blows doors on Winders

(( ducks and hides ))
No problem, Mike: Fuji forum has always beeen a friendly & open place to discuss.

We swtiched to Windows machines with the advent of XP & AMD64 processors, & have never looked back 9we kept some macs, but they have dwindled to just one)

No matter what the hype, at our studios we find that price/performance/upgradeability has been consistently in favor of windows machines.

YMMV, but they work great for us....so much that I "upgraded" to an AMD computer some 4+ years back & have never looked back.

I'd love to try RPP on my computer, but I don't think there's a windows version.

But that applies only to MACs, not so with Win XP and fast machine...
