Hey all,

I re-shot the benches photo that I'm aiming to print and frame as a gift. Today's shots were different because it had just finished raining so that added a cool effect to the images.

Original:

New Shot #1:

New Shot #2:

My favorite is NS#2 because of the angle and added dimension of the water. But I wanted to see what you pros thought!

Regards,
Ian

Yep,the original has a distracting OOF from the far bench. The new two are better. I like #2 the best as well.

Not sure I would hang them, but you did a good job.

I'm pretty particular about what I hang, but these are interesting to me principally as an exercise in abstract shapes, and the details of the water on the bench in the later two images is not enough for me to enjoy as a detailed shot, but is enough to be distracting as an abstract shot. So I'd find the first image more interesting as a framed print on the wall.

Nice job...I'd be proud to hang it on my wall.

Great B&W conversion by the way.

I like #2 - though it seem cut away on the left side, I would have added more stuff on the left

I'm not pro though
