I am needing to attach the b-300 to the TC-E2. I believe I need a step-down ring 62mm to 55mm.

I also need to attach the b-300 to the Eagle Eye 5x. I think I need a step-up ring 37mm to 55mm.

I would also like to be able to attach the B-300 to the coolpix. This involves a step-up ring 28mm to 55mm. hmmmm, don't know if that is possible.

I have gotten all of this information from the forum and believe it to be correct.

My local camera shops, however, say there are no such things as those sizes. Ritz says they are not in their product book. The other 2 shops said I could not use the b-300 with the coolpix 995. I am pretty sure they are wrong.

questions?

Can these rings be purchased? If so, where?

Would it be a mistake to use 2 or more rings to get where I need to be? (From reading the forum, I think it is a bad idea.)--Thanks,
Dee Ann

That is a harder ring to find, but it is out there. I used 2 rings, 37mm to 52mm and 52mm to 55mm.

You can have that ring made or you can use 3 rings, 28mm to 37mm and the other two from above.

Try Tom at http://www.ckcpower.com He may not show them all on his web page, but if you call him, he can get what ever you want. Tell him Ralph sent you.

I do it all the time, but it does work better with one ring. The closer the lenses are together, the better they work.

How good is the Oly B-300 in image quality and, once you attach it to the TC-E2 on a CP990, can you do handheld shooting, or do you need a tripod?

Thanks,
Alex:)
