Great composition. I love the mood.

Only sugestion would be to get rid of the small branch intruding into the lower right side.

Very nice. Feels like the morning mist before a warm Queensland day. Did you shoot it locally?

Very good shot, Dean, as it is. If asked whether it could be
improved, do not know. The semi-dry branch on the right ideally
would be avoided, but this might not been possible...

After looking at it for a while, I have a vague feeling that
the front might need a bit of a focus point, sort of. Something like
making the lanes run into the low left corner.

Note quite sure...

Come on Dean,

How bout some story like I scoped out this location 50km away from home months ago and have been waiting for the right lighting to get the shot just right :-)

Thanks, John 2 minutes earlier it was even more striking.

Koka I think you are suggesting to stand more to the right to frame the shot but there was a tree in the road there. The angle I had was so as to catch the sun where it was behind the gums and the rays through the mist, it all happened fast. Really appreciate your suggestion, you've got me thinking. Did think of cropping but would loose too much foreground and lose the position of the sun or rays.

David the truth was I had to search the stars for months to find the correct astronomical place, check it out on the exact day & time, run home the 50ks collect all those small trees you see that I planted before the mist dissaperared and snap!

Mike thanks for your complements.

Here's a crop but I feel I've lost too much foreground bottom left. I think this is what you were eluding to koka?

I actually meant using a wider lens, there is only so much you can do
now... This is a nice picture, nothing wrong with it as is, I just too often
suffer from a post-shooting sindrome... Still posting them :-)
