Very nice Guy did'nt think herne hill was still going,i used to ride there when i was at school thirty years ago(dont time fly).

...but had a very shaky couple of decades...

I believe it's the only venue from the 1948 London Olympics which is still in use - and, of course, it predates that event by 50 years or so.

Hi Paul, you were there quite recently. I never rode there but visited in 1950 when I was stationed at Biggin Hill. (I was a member of the BLRC).

Some nice shots but the colors seem a little flat...what color mode are you using? Are you shooting RAW? The reds on the Cofidis jersey are definitely off but maybe my monitor...

I noticed the same thing. Pretty flat colors, especially knowing the colors of those jerseys.

Love the shots of the track, used to race on the track a bit until I moved away from one. Still bums me out, but the new love is cyclocross.

RAW workflow isn't up to 4500 shots a day!

They should be sRGB and are PP'd on a calibrated monitor. Must be my eyes...

OMG can I use that stayer race shot in my bicycle class PowerPoint? I would use it to teach bicycling safety and part of the curriculkum teaches different kinds of bicycling-racing being a part of it-and I would love to use it. I can only offer full photo credit.

Skinsuits generally tend to have more washed-out looking colours than regular kit, and the white one was especially bad in that respect, but...

I think he looks like a lobster now. Look at the knees and elbows... I think the Cofidis logos were actually very pale red looking because of the thin, white stretched fabric.

But I'll go with fake if people prefer it...

Looks ok to me but the jersey looks spot on...you could try selectively modifying the skintones on a different layer if you wanted.
