Does anyone notice that the flash is too bright when the picture is taken at close distant? Does anyone aware of the solution for this problem? Thanks.

Hi. I been taking a lot of picture with flahs on and sometimes it is a little over exposed on Auto mode. One thing you can do is if you don't use manual,TV or AV modes, then set it to P and you can set the flash to negative values also make the exposure less. That should do the trick if it still doesn't work then you have to learn how to use Tv or Av modes or make a step back :) Take a lot of pics to learn settings in different modes. Good Luck!

Cover the flash tube with one or two layers of facial tissue (Kleenex type) or tracing paper. This will reduce and soften the flash.--John McCormack'Seek first to understand, then to be understood.' - Unknown

I set the flasy to minus 2/3. Have read in this forum to set aperture to 5.0 in Av mode, plan to try both and see what works best.
