Sb 22s replacement

Had same problem with SB22s and 990
as some of you have had.

Will now only fire at full
power. Want to replace it but with what? Is this a problem with
just the SB22s and the 990 or can it happen with
any nikon flash unit ?

checked in with my local Nikon dealer last week, asking about speedlights. He said the SB22s is discontinued and new units are due soon, so you might want to hold off on replacing it if you can.

Will do.... any guess on when it
may be out ? . And is it made for digital cameras? Don't want this to
be an on going thing ( flash turning to toast)

don't know when...hopefully soon. He mentioned one is intended for the 5k...compact design, should be compatable with your 990.
