Full Res 1D Mark III Image

Really no reason to even post such a horrible picture as it adds nothing to the specualtion. We obviously all know this is not representative of what teh camera can do..... or at leaset do in a real photog's hands. I just wonder why it was even posted? What motive? I'm sure it was all innocent, but why even post it> > ?????

Because I found it online...and at last count there haven't been a lot of images available yet; that's why. The photo has had over 3000 views since it was posted, proving people are yearning to see more from this camera.

All you are proving is the knee-jerk reaction of all too many people here. It's just another image.

Another stupid comment. I am not a troll. I was merely posting a photograph I found online...that's all. I too am interested in this camera. In fact, I had a deposit on it until the price went up. I'm about as loyal a Canonite as they come.

That said, I wonder why everyone is so defensive. If you are a Canon photog there should be very little to be defenisve about. Get over it.

Yuck.
Darn - I'm normally a Canon person too - even at iso
1600 it's just.. well.
By the way, I asked the photographer of the image to explain his post-production process of this image and to post an original JPEG of the file. Here was his response:

"I just open CR2 in Canon Photo Profession and Export it to jpeg.

With 100% quality, without any "handmaid" but I didnt use this program before and don't know does it perform something authomatically?"

Draw your own conclusions...I know you will.
