Hello Bob,I have heard that the software with the 7 has some conflicts with
windows XP, does anyone know what these are? How can they be fixed
if so? I am planning on getting XP pro for my new computer and
would like to be prepared when I get a dimage 7 if there will be
any conflicts. Thanks.

That post is a bunch of BS! I'm not positive about the Nikon and its software, but I suspect that it's also BS, errors on the part of the 'experimenter' with Win XP. As for the D7 and the Minolta software, DIVU, it is completely erroneous. You CAN format the CF cards in Win XP, it will format it correctly with FAT instead of FAT32, and work correctly in the D7 (and I'd be willing to bet in the Nikon, too). You CAN rotate the image in Win Explorer and not lose the EXIF data in the DIVU or an EXIF reader. Don't worry, be happy!--Mr Pedagogue - Win XP Pro, D7, PSP7I love my D7 and it works fine with XP.
