Feast your eyes on this photo

The trees and poles are pretty inoquous IMO. I'd pp out the poles if they are that much of a distraction. However, the poles are a minor detail in comparison to the heavy blue cast of the lower section and the piercing sun. The blue especially need correcting.

love the 2nd version, the first was good but almost sci-fi... i love the tide pools , we get good sunsets but we have flat beaches , nice shot!!

I painted over the blue area with an approximation of the complementary colour. You can see the sort of colour I used by looking at the drop shadow which has gone a bit orange in places. I think the paint mode in PS was "color".

thanks - here is a vertical shot i took at the same place about 30 sec before hand - i used your technique and got this in the foreground. What do you think? I have posted this photo again in another thread.
