I have a iMac G5 running the older OSX 10.3.5 (I believe). I recently purchased a new MacBook running OSX 10.4 and a Airport Extreme. When attempting to set up my network, I was told by the installation hardware that I needed OSX 10.4 on my G5.
I spoke to a technician at the local Apple store who suggested I purchase OSX 10. 4 for my G5 ($129). He then told me there is a way to set up the system to share external drives and a printer connected to my G5 running 10.3.5 and suggested I do a Google search on it to get directions. I'd searched and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Can anyone here explain the setup I need to do, or direct me to a site that explains it.
