Photoshop CS3 or Extended

I am curious what version most people are getting. I will most likely get the extended version. I don’t do much 3d now but I figure it can’t hurt to learn.

Extended. I sometimes make 3D images in trueSpace. CS3 doesn't support its object directly, but I can export them. Besides, I'm a self-respecting geek and wouldn't be able to stand it if I didn't have all the functions.

I saw nothing in the extended version that I would use anytime before the next version of PS would be released.

Extended because it's the only version of Photoshop Adobe offers on their Education Store, and $300 is a nice price anyways.

Does the standard version have the newly enhanced stitching/pano tools via the auto-align option in the move tool?
