I HAVE A CX6230 .I'VE HAD IT FOR ACOUPLE OF YEARS NOW , STARTING TO HAVE PROBLEMS ALL OF A SUDDEN . MISSING SOME DLL FILES ATLAS DLL, CAN ANYBODY HELP PLEASE , i HAVE TRIED REINSTALLING MORE THAN ONCE WITH NO LUCK ( i CAN'T USE KODAK TO TAKE PICS FROM MY CAMARA TO PC) DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE

Sounds like you are having computer problems more than a problem with the camera. There will be some people here with computer expertise but that's not the core skillset of this forum.

Fom your brief description, we don't know whether you are having a "simple" problem with Kodak Easyshare software or there is a greater problem lurking on your computer - virus, malware, enthusiastic installation / uninstallation of various programs.

You might bypass Easyshare problems by getting an inexpensive card reader and just using Windows or freeware photo programs in the meantime.

David Davies - Just bypass the ES software. Pull up the XP My Pictures, press on your dock for download pics, and when asked by My Pictures select Microsoft Scanner and camera Wizard and take it from there. You will probably have to de-select the ES auto download. Don't use ES, more problems than it is worth including freezing the computer.

Maybe email your brother and see if he'll go over some night and check it out maybe between you and him you may figure it out
