Nikkor 28-70/f2.8D AF-S ED-IF vs the 35-70/f2.8D AF

btw, the 35-70 and the 20-35 together used makes a great bargain
2.8 combo. I do still own the 20-35 and though am having the same
thoughts about the 17-35 as I did before about the 28-70, I think
I'll save my money for a little longer this time

Any idea if the 20-35 is still available new - I can't find it on B&H, or is it a case of watching KEH etc to see if one comes up?

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice - just ordered a 35-70 F2.8 from B&H - should be here by the end of the week - now I just need to find time to get my photo's online somewhere so I can post a few here.

Next on the want list - 70-200VR followed by a 17-35 (may have to trade my 24-120VR to get the last one!)

After that - may be Edward's favourite - the 35/F2 - to be honest never really thought about primes until I started seeing some of the photo's on here.

PS This site should come with a health warning - Reading the posts & seeing the some of the photo's here can / will lead to a seroius case of lens lust & severe damage to one's wallet!!!

Once again - thanks for all your help

if you follow Ed around and you will want to drop some $$!!! Definitely try that 35mm f2.0, but you might get hooked on primes!:-)
