Thanks Randy. If you like clean, inexpensive and good food from around the world. You'd love Singapore. The missus would love it too cos shopping is great here. Not many places to shoot for the avid landscape photographer though.

... after merging all the 7 bracketed images and some tweaking of the final HDR image, I wasn't happy with the end result. This shot is actually the one that had no EV compesation at all. :)

Yes, this is one of the most scenic areas in Singapore.

The building with the bright lights reflecting in the water is the Fullerton hotel. That used to be the General Post Office headquarters, but a few years back they relocated and the building was gutted and converted into a hotel. The building itself is beautiful and the interior is even more amazing. If any of you ever visit, you have to check it out.

I haven't been back to Singapore in years, but it is a very beautiful city and a wonderful playground for photographers. You did a great job capturing this one part of Singapore. =)

Beautiful image. But the management of the building you stood on would be disappointed you didn't capture any of its spikyness...just joking ;-)

By the way, the monsoon season is from late October to about February... but although you would get bucket loads of rain, that would also be the cooler part of the year...

you would get showers and thunderstorms year round, being in the equitorial rainforest belt and all, but thing is after a passing shower, the air would be remarkable crisp...great for picture taking...just remember to bring umbrellas or raingear :-)

You nailed the exposure. Color, focus, DR and Saturation are all just gorgeous! Nice work.
