Waiting for my f20

I ordered from Amazon on Monday; they seemed to have the best deal, and shipping seemed easy enough, with an estimated arrival window of between today and Wednesday of next week.

Well, my card arrived a few days ago, and I looked to see that the camera hadn't shipped. After an email to the seller who'd actually ship the camera (Ace Photo Digital), I was told their shipping dept is closed, and the item won't ship until the 11th, the day by which Amazon assured me that I'd have my camera.

This stinks.

Sorry to hear that, ordered mine from Dell.com. It only took 3 days from Texas to Maryland. I think that was very fast

Was the price better than the 139 shipped from dell? Amazon sellers are a little hit and miss sometimes. I got two things last week that were here just 4days after I ordered. Another Item was supposed to be here March21st......................

My friend ordered from dell and had his shipped free, he got it in 6days. A pretty good deal and turn around.

I bought mine from B&H. Ordered on Sat. evening and received on Tuesday.....also in Maryland

The price on the camera + card came out just a little cheaper on Amazon...I think. Boy do I wish I had done Dell, though...

I often buy from Amazon (a Prime member, yet), and only occasionally via Amazon as you did.

I suspect the reason for the delay is religious: Passover observance this week, and many of the NYC shops are observant. Amazon likely did not factor this into their shipping estimates.

Good camera, though, and worth the wait.
