I bought the F30 mainly for underwater snapshots but it didn't get wet yet. Currently I experiment a bit to get used to the settings and it's effects. Here are some snapshots from a local Blues club.
All shots are with ISO 1600, Manual mode, EV -1, Auto WB, no flash, Average metering and High Speed turned on.
There are more shots on my website:

Note that this is the only gallery with F30 pics, yet. The other photos were taken with the Canon 5D and the older ones with the D60.
If you like Etta James and Janis Joplin then do yourself a favor and watch the video (9min) filmed with the F30. I have recorded 4 songs, loaded the 4 AVI files (about 900MB) into Nero Vision Express 3 (it was the only tool available, I did not choose this one for a specific reason) and the trimmed the video sequences, added a title and saved the whole thing as MPEG-1 file (94MB). I uploaded this file to YouTube where it got further compressed to a 21MB FLV file. It's still the best way to share such videos on the web. Here is the direct link to the YouTube site:

Below you can see the quality loss, left is YouTube and right is the 94MB MPEG-1 file. The sound quality is nearly the same.
Regards,
