Anyone used both the Kodak DC4800 lens adapter as well as the Photosolve "Extend-a-lens 4800" any opinions on whether I should get one or the other?

Thanks!

If you're just using the Kodak lenses get the Kodak adapter. It works as a nice lens shade. The extend-a-lens is a lot heftier than the Kodak but you do not need that for the small lenses.

I like the Xtend-a-lens better than the Kodak plastic one!

extend a lens.

i found that the kodak adapter has a tendency to not sit squarely.

note: i've used my extendalens for almost a year now and have since added a layer of tape on my lens barrel to compensate for the worn down grip.

I had both, and gave the Kodak adapter to a friend. Extend-a-lens was easier to use and works great. I keep the 2x lens mounted on it, with a lens cap on both ends. Caps off, slip it on and good to go.
