My daughter reached 3yr mark today :)

Hi Frank!

Tell her Happy Birthday! She's been a joy to watch growing up and
your pictures will always be appreciated! Looking forward to
watching the bothof them together, too.

My daughter is sitting here beside me with her attention split
between the TV, her skating schedule for today's competitions, and
my forum cruising. She saw your pictures and you should have heard
the 'ooooos' and 'soooo cute!' comments. She liked the first one
and the pursed lips and the next to last best.

Hi Frank,
Lovely shots, gorgeous kids, and a wonderful history, that I hope
you continue to document.
Gee it's good to see a series of cameras being used for the right
reaons for once.
Congrats...
Regards
Andrew
Thanks Andrew :) I guess I've spent too much (time and money) on photo gear just for taking family photos ;) It's become a serious hobby now ...

Cheers!

Happy Birthday to your daughter Frank. I appreciate you posting the
series of images as I wasn't around here 3 years ago. She was an
amazingly beautiful baby! And is still just as cute as can be.

Congratulations Frank... on not only surviving 3 years of
parenthood... but also on having your photography grow along with
your children. Beautiful kids you got there!

BTW, I thought you sold your K10d? Didn't you pick up a K100d not
too long ago? I've been away from the boards and missed something I
guess. ; )

Thanks Mary :)

Yes, I did get a K100D for a short while after my first K10D. But some features (better SR, easier to change metering mode and adjust EV ...) on K10D just couldn't be missed. So I switched back to K10D after 2 weeks' detour ;) Won't make the same mistake again ...

Thanks Pablo :) I'll never be tired of taking their photos, but they've got tired of me taking their photos :( Oh well, at least the younger one still doesn't know how to turn away from the camera yet ...

Cheers!

Hi Frank,
Those are beautiful pictures. That's unanimous. Don't let this time
pass away without noticing. You are taking care by taking the
photos. Within some years the children will thank you for the time
you spent with them, and you feel that it was worth it. These are
times that never come back.
Best regards
Rui
Thanks Rui. Glad you like those photos :) Just wish I'd have more time holding a camera instead of the little one sometimes so I can take more photos ;) Oh well, that time will come eventually I think ...

Cheers!

You'll be beating off the boys with a baseball bat one day. Enjoy
your adorable kids as long as you can.
Thanks Grant :) Glad you like them too.

Your kids are so natural and lovely in these pictures. It's special to have captured them as they grow up, so you can slip back in time to see them as they were.

FWIW, I found that I photographed our first child much more often than I did our second one three years later. Don't make that mistake (and I'm sure you won't), as child #2 will never let you forget it!

Same here. I used to shoot alot when we only had one kid, especially when my daughter was eating (while my wife was helping her out of course). But now, my wife and I are mostly tied up by both kids, can't just take photos like as often as I used to :( I haven't even had a single one photo when my son is eating (but I've got tons of my daughter's when she's eating)! But thanks for your reminder. I'll sure try to capture some more photos of him.
