Hi until recently i have only given my customers the ability to have small thumbnails for viewing prior to purchase.

However i would like to start giving larger more usable prints to view does anyone know where i can get the Copyright logo of the C in a circle to use in photoshop.

Thanks

Rachael,

This is a little complicated to explain, but special characters and fonts are available using a feature of Windows called Character Map, found in the Start Menu/Accessories/System Tools folder when you click on the Start button, clicking the Select button then the Copy button and pasting into an application. It's a basic feature of MS Windows in various iterations.

Within photoshop I use the text tool and the following sequence of characters should produce the copyright symbol: alt key + 0169.
Hope this works.

Rachael,

When you are in Photoshop, just use the regular type tool. It should work with all or most of the fonts. Anyway, to get the © symbol just hold down the ALT key. While holding it down, press 0169. Release the ALT key and you will have the © symbol. Be sure to use the number key pad on the right of the keyboard and not the numbers above the keyboard.
Hope this answers your question.

On a Mac, it's simply option + g

That is, hold down the option key and type the letter g.

Hi there,

How do you get a Copyright in the first place? I've scoured the Internet for answers, but nothing. I live in the UK if that effects anything, your answers would be appreciated.

Thanks,--}:-)[-

It's OK, I got the answer I needed on the thread 'Copyrights' on 'Open Talk'. Hope you too, find this helpful.
