Stolen Camera Found With Pictures Intact

This is a fascinating story!

What happened that the thief threw away this expensive loot? Could it be that this was the work of a disgruntled relative or spurned lover?

I can't see why a thief of good standing would ever throw the camera away, unless he couldn't find the way to load film?

Although I can't imagine it happening these days, I did have a somewhat peculiar experience a few years ago with respect to "changing film" in a digital camera. Some aggressive youngster was convinced I was taking pictures of him (I was shooting a sunset quite well above "him"). He demanded I turned over the film.......

The thief probably got paranoid and dumped the camera or tried to sell it for a quick fix and couldn't or couldn't figure out how to work the camera.

I just learned that an acquaintance of mine, who has always bought high-end cameras (like a Nikon F4 when it was new), but has never really known much about them, just returned from a trip to the southern United States and didn't take very many pictures with his new DSLR because he couldn't figure out how to get the photos off of the memory card and onto his computer.

However, since the thief didn't seem to have taken any pictures, he must of had a different problem.
