I just received an email from Xrite to upgrade my Ezcolor software to

a new version for Windows Vista. I downloaded it and installed it. It is now compatible with Vista using the DTP-94 colorimeter. Ran the program, profiled my monitor and scanner. Made a new profile for my printer and everything worked just a sit did in Windows XP. No need to buy new hardware and software now

You are lucky..... I got impatient and bought the Eye One Display 2.
Next stop --- --- -- - Ebay. I don't need two monitor profile units.
Just glad Monaco EZColor works. I like it better than the Eye One.

I was happily surprized when even though they say it only works on x86, that it seems to work just fine on x64 as well.

Yeehaw!

I'm very happy with my Optix XR colorimeter and EZcolor software. I have no plans to move to Vista, but it's good to have the newest version. Thanks!

I'm not having as much luck. Vista Ultimate 32-bit, EZColor 2.6.5, Epson R2400. Monitor profiles seem ok, but when I did a new profile for Enhanced Matte (Ultra Premium Presentation now) my prints are oversaturated and have a red cast. I know, that sounds like double profiling, but I'm printing out of PS CS3 the way I always did in WinXP (PS control, my profile, Epson driver set to ICM and "Off" (No color adjustment). What's really strange is that when I go back to EZColor to edit my profile, I can get a perfect match to the EZColor screen image by increasing the saturation and adding a red cast. But then, when I print in PS, the new print is even more saturated and red. It's like the profile editing is going in exactly the wrong direction. In fact, I did a re-edit, by subtracting saturation and red and got a pretty good profile, but it was a pain to keep going back and forth between PS and EZcolor.

BTW, everything worked ok on my old XP machine (EZColor 2.6.3). Also, I printed with the canned Epson profile and got a pretty good match. Anyone else having this nightmare? Can anyone please help. Thanks.
