What you have experienced is a known bug. Sigma knows about it, and have already made a fix. Actually, it is only you that have got this black box.

I suspect this was the reason for the delay of the SD-14. When they (Sigma) got the first batch of boxes, they discovered that they were black. They decided to postpone delivery, until new boxes could be made.

Or, it could be a symbol of that it is a Black.box product; it just captures everything, as opposed to other brands.

I might be wrong on this, so maybe you could uplaod a RAW, so we could examine this problem in more detail.

It could also be a WB problem. Did you read the owners manual carefully?

That one was really funny, Kendall.

This means that Bayer people have to empty this compartment pretty often, it can't be just limitless storage there? I mean, with all those colors they loose on each photo.

I have always thought that thes lost colors gathered inside the lens, as I have problems seeing how those extra colors get past the sensor.
So how do they get from the lens to this compartment?

And where are the blue ones missing?
And the green - although it should only be half as much.

ask the UPS guy.

I am sure he will be helpful if you are honest and say you have problems with these boxes that comes without unpacking instructions.

No. It is not compatible. You will notice that the new strap is 32 mm FAT, while the old one only was 16 mm FAT. The old one will probably not support the new camera. And you may get jaggies, yellow cast, blotches, AF-problems, all kinds of problems.

Why should I Beta test their stupid box color? I paid $1600 for that box and I expect it to be the proper color.

You certainly are wrong! But I will upload 456 Hi res RAW images to prove I am right.

I have tried WB, BB, Jack Daniels, and S&M. Nothing works. I don't have to read the manual because I am an expert. I have taken thousands of pictures this week. Besides, my workphloe doesn't allow time to RTFM. My great grandfather was Norwegian. Need I say more?
