Calling it "golden" because someone is selling them on eBay for a starting bid of $11.00 plus $2.00 shipping & handling. If anyone needs one, don't go to eBay. I have two (had to buy three at once) in the drawer. Will let them go for $25.00 each plus $10.00 shipping & handling or you could make me a higher offer and I would probably take it.

what about the 11.00 packing fee, and 7.00 insurance?

Might be better off just going to Orion and buying the (3) for 15 bucks!

woops..

Gee Bill, that's a nice offer. What you fail to mention is that the starting bid, and ending bid on the auctions I watched (Dutch) are about $1-$2 different. I paid $12.00 for one plus $1.50 shipping.

I did not even win the auction, but the guy running it sold me the darn thing for $12.00 which was the buy it now price after seeing me bid and loose. Can't help it if foolish people overbid. I think the final amount was $13.00.

Anyone wants his address, mail me, and I'll send it. I'm not going to post it to a public forum for several reasons.

OK, I'm a fool, and should have looked harder to find one. Ohh well, I can live with an $9 mistake....

Maybe I should run these on EBay....

But why do I need THREE of them when maybe someone would like to sell one of theirs and recoup some of the shipping costs...or something?
Why not go to,

You can pickup a 3 pack for $8.49 plus shipping. Why do people have
to rip people off on EBAY? I guess because they can!

I hope you got insurance when you bought the eye piece. I got mine just the other day -- tried it out, and it almost sucked my eyeball out! Please punch a small hole in the bottom of one of the accordian folds so that a vacuum does not develop. :-)

Hi Jim,

I'm sorry if I sound insensitive, but reading this made me laugh so hard my co-workers are still looking at me funny like. :o)

I just have this mental image of someone with their E-xx stuck to their eye yelling for someone to " Get IT OFF ME!! " :o)

Hope you're alright now, and there were no long lasting ill effects.

Sincerly,

Hi Bill,

Never noticed that it was your photo that was posted on eBay. Should have recognized it from the forum as you were the one that originally posted about the eyepiece. Don't know how many he has sold but he is making BIG BUCKS on each one
