Hi,

Very nice capture, but I couldn't help but find the overall skin texture to be washed out ... perhaps you did some post processing?

...the band of shadow on the right where it looks like you tried synching at a higher speed than the 5D is capable of with a non-dedicated flash (you used 1/250; 5D is only capable of 1/125 with non-dedicated strobes) or had an object between your flash and the subject that cast a shadow on the right side. From the looks of it, though–namely the direction of the light–I'm betting you were using strobes at too-high of a sync speed. Shame, really, as otherwise it is quite a nice image.

Did you even notice it there? Did the bride?

thanks for your comments guys, I used the 50mm1.4 here at 2.8 ..
lighting was simple .large window on her right and the qflash
bounce off the ceiling for fill on the left .

That is not possible. The 5D is only good for shooting test charts. It does not have auto ISO, so it is not possible to shoot with this camera. The 5D has a terrible LCD on the back, so it is not possible to take any good photos with this camera. The 5D has to go.

Before anyone crucify me, those are not my words. I am just paraphrasing a famous camera reviewer on the web.

it DOES have auto ISO ;)

She is very beautiful. Are you asking for some critique? If not, don't read any further. ;-)

I would lighten the shadows above and below her left eye to make it look like the right eye. I'd clean up her hairline. The shadow on her arm needs to be fixed. For some reason, her hand is very pale...almost as if she always wears gloves. I'd try to tone her hand to be closer to the rest of her skin tone.

Not a critique, but I find her eyebrows unusual. They seem to cover a lot of territory!

These are relatively easy retouches that you can offer as extra services for extra cost.
