It's official now, D2Hs is listed in the discontinued product page by Nikon Japan:

Earlier it's also reported in the discontinued or no longer available in Nikon Australia but it is not exactly sure which category it belongs to:

So what does this mean?

...I know what you mean. The funny thing is: I really don't care--I've got an awesome camera coming that will serve me well for quite a while. I guess I'm at the other end of buying a new body right after it's released, heh?!
