why not? a few f@$king more! :-) LX1 photos

These are clearly over saturated, and the black boxes look extremely odd. I shouldn't like them, but I do... In fact, I like them a lot!

Thanx for posting, great inspiration.

Hmmm, looking at the pictures side by side, the second picture doesn't seem to have the same warm 'Mexican sunset' tone as the others. I would probably decrease the temperature by 1000 Kelvin and stretch the histogram a bit to right. Just a thought.

ya know.... some people say your work is over saturated, some say not, some say this and that... but really, who the heck decided what "correct" was? Who set the standard? And, why should I feel obliged to follow? I make images and post process for me alone. I like hot color, I pump it up on purpose. Some like it, some don't. As long as I'm happy with it, honestly.. that's all that really matters in my world. For those adherring to some guru shutterbug's definition of what's "correct"... more power to them if that's what tickles they're whiskers. But, I'm not about conforming to someone else's opinion of "correct". I'm about conforming to what pleases my eye alone. Like I said before, if some folks like it... great. If they don't, it really doesn't matter to me.

thanks for the compliment and looking.

Well, it was a pretty overcast day and there was none of the "Mexican" color to the light. I think this shot would be better represented in b/w.. but I just hate to lose all that rainbow color. ;-)
