The longs lens on the FZ5 relly helped as some of these animals were quite a long way away. Son't know what the bird is but it kind of swam through the air with that tail!









 
Your FZ5 handled the safari well. I like the rhino. Don't you just love Africa?
 
You got some nice pics there Sara...... love the golden light on that rhino... and that bird is really interesting, never seen such a long tail..... I was in Africa last year with my FZ30, it was fantastic.... which places did you go to?

lovely angles, esp. the Giraffe. Like them all. The deers clustering together gives a very nice feel...like a very warm family gathering.
 
Some wonderful photos of what must have been a delightful trip for you. Nice variety and all well seen and captured. I am envious :)
