E-20 makin' music ...

Hello all,

With all those X3 rumors around, time for some serious shooting

I had an assignment in a music store, but I did a lot of "personal shootings" also ...
Here's an example:



A complete album of my "personals" of this shooting can be found in a new E-20 album on Belgium Digital.
The E-20 + Metz sca3202 in TTL mode + Metz 45CL-4 did a wonderfull job.

It was a mixture of daylight and flash and I think the images turned out pretty well ...

For me, it was like being in a "toystore" - I used to be a keyboardplayer in a band in a "former" life ;-)
Photography is a more "quiet" occupation ....

I love these shots! : ). the cymbal shot you chose to lead with is one of the nicest. i also like the yamaha bass headstock, and the closeup on the high hat hardware. I'm a musician, too (active). I've shot some stuff in my music studio that looks pretty cool. I find that mixers and keyboards look really good with 'pools of light' and contrasty shadows that enhance the 3-d qualities of the knobs or keys. Here's a little collage of some shots. i have a good one of my mixer but I can't seem to find it right now ..

Very good photos again and no luck by you. Some of your
photos IMHO are advertising quality. But remember I not in the
advertising business so I do not have a clue what a photo for
advertising should be. Ha! But what came across this time with
your photos was one word, "Fun". Fun to look at.

Yes, I know - but I'm looking forward to a real test of the Sigma.
Seems to be a very interesting camera according to the specifications.

Very good photos again and no luck by you. Some of your

Wow these are clean! With or without NR? And great colors.

All images were taken without noise reduction since the shutterspeed was less than 1/2 sec.

Good composition, good colors, interesting subject. Overall good photo. Nothing to write home about but I'm sure the music store will like it.

Then you've done a super job!. I think your E-20 pictures in general have a lot off smoothness and sharpness at a level I've never seen coming out of my E-10. But also : lighting and framing: well done!

Real good photo ,excellent .Now iam out of work and have my E-10 back form Oly for dust on CCD and Firmware up grade i must check it out to see if their is no problems with it as the guarantee runs out in March. Jonathan Richardson

Regarding the E-10 and guarantee - line has 45.000 shots "on the counter" now and still working perfectly ...
So, don't worry to much ;-)
BTW, should my E-10 have an overhault now?
