My first picture posting

supposed to do this but I'd appreciate some feedback from some of you wise folks out there

Thanks

PS I now know they are too big, (for my screen anyway)

They look good to me. My favorites are the grass and the closeup perspective on the swings. Were those done with the kit lens?

I like the photo of the young child as well. It has a drawn look to it--sort of like a pencil sketch.

I love almost all the pictures. I think the colors do a very good job of setting the mood of each picture. I love the compositions in all the images. Very strong! The only image I wasn't so keen on was the landscape of the farm. I felt like the horizion was crooked. I could just be off my rocker. I think that is the only picture that had anything wrong. Everything else is great!

BTW, what types of lenses did you use for these pictures?

Thanks for your comments.

Most were taken with the kit lens, but the child and the flower were taken with the Tamron 90mm adaptall I think.

The surf photos, the boat in the mud and the lines in the mud were all taken with my Sigma 70-300 1:4-5.6 APO.

I was particularly pleased with the one of my niece, I was trying to get a photo with some movement and I played around to get the mono with the blue eyes, it took me ages to get it right but I was happy with what I managed.

All of the photos were taken in the UK, mostly North Devon.

Thanks again

Stuart

Very nice shots. I really like the blowing grass. The grafetti shots are very interesting also; where were they shot?

You have a great variety of pictures, just as my eyes are recovering from the bright graffiti you have a lovely soft sunrise. The portrait of your niece is very good and i think your PP has been very good for each picture. I think i can safely say you are off to flyer. Thanks for posting.

Saunton lines, great!

I like all of them, but those ones with the sea, better.
