Fuji sales and marketing dept sleeping?

Fuji cameras are very popular and easy to get here in Moscow also, it is easier to get an xd card than sd card, see many shops selling Fuji cameras and xd cards in the subway, plus the major electronic malls and camera stores all have Fuji cameras. I do not know if Fuji having its headquarters for Russia here has anything to do with it or not.

I'd noticed the same trend at best-buy, then decided when you shop on Amazon.com, what difference does it make?

They sell them at their online presence because it doesnt take up any floor real estate. Floorspace at a store is valuable and they try to optimize that space, online is much different of course.

My company has a presence in Japan, Korea and Hong Kong and they tell me Fuji is quite strong there, even huge ad campaigns with celebrities from those markets pitching their products. You will likely remember the Canon ads with Maria Sharapova, or if your old like me, those same ads with Andre Agassi, Fuji does similar type ads in Japan. I can't recall EVER seeing a Fuji camera TV ad here in the states, not sure why.
