Hello,

Can you tell me exactly why I need the latest firmware for my SLR/N? I have an SLR/N with 5.4.1. I shoot tethered to a Mac, I sometimes use 1gb cards, I'll never use bigger cards.

My biggest niggle with my camera is purple fringing. Does it fix this? (Can this be 'fixed' by firmware?) Am a bit reluctant to load update without reason, but seems that some subscribers to this forum get quite excited by having the latest version, and I would like to know exactly why. Many thanks,

Send me firmvare update 5.4.9 for my Kodak Pro 14n. I just saw the information on the firmware please add me to your list. My camera has the last official release from Kodak (5.4.1).

Thank you so much, Nigel! Now my 14n enable use of SD media up to 4 GB capacity - Its all is need!!! Now I Like my dinosaurs much more %) ...

I did post some time back that I wondered if anyone had any contact with Nigel, as he seems to have disappeared completely from this Kodak Forum - his input over the years having been most helpful. I do hope he is well.

His last post in this forum was a year ago (2008) but he has posted, some 6 months ago, on the PC Talk forum, so hopefully, it is just work and change of interest. If you should read this Nigel - or anyone who perhaps knows him more personally - trust you are well and to say thanks for all the past help.
