I noticed that you said to Ruvy that this is not a Magnolia. I
think you are not correct, this is a Magnolia. I have two of them
in my garden, but they will not flower for another month or so.
Tulip trees are something completely different.
By the way is your background created in Photoshop?
I have not learnt how to do that yet.

Does yours look like this:

This one grows in my front garden. It is Magnolia Soulangiana. The
one you are thinking about is evergreen and glossy leaved and it is
called Magnolia Grandiflora.
