Lets Have Fun--New Item

Yes, a lizard.

A big one

and here is another picture of the lizard, with my wife holding it.

PROOF that you should ALWAYS carry your Casio EX-Z850 with you at all times, because you never know when you will come across something worth taking a picture of. This lizard belonged to the owner of a truck rental company, when my wife and I went to rent a truck.

Lizard or Iguana would have worked for me.

The owner of this animal did not say it was not a lizard, so I guess its a lizard.

I think you are right when you say it is an iguana. See this wikipedia link:

Does anyone know if the oval shaped spot on the Iguana is an ear, danger sensor, or does it have any function?

I wouldn´t hold that monster no matter what. She is very corageous your wife. Congratulations

If everybody feels like continuing this game, I would post tomorrow another easy cropped macro photo.

My wife is very much an animal lover. As soon as she saw the iguana, she wanted to hold it right away. I was content to just pet it.

On a side topic

We have a couple of Am-Staffs (American Staffordshire Terriers) that we both love to death. For those of you that don't know what an AmStaff is, its pretty much a pittbull. Thanks to Cesar Millan, and his TV show, we can make them mind us now as well! These breeds (one of the bully breeds) are very strong willed. HOwever, I just want everyone to know that when you hear of a pit biting someone, its because the pit was either trained to bite people, or was abused. Pits are normally agressive towards other dogs (breed originally to fight), but are not normally agressive towards people. In fact, my male, whenever he sees someone he doesn't know and is being walked by them, will drop his front down, and spread out his front legs with his butt in the air wagging his tail (this is the 'puppy play' body language) because he doesn't know that not all people are friendly.

My wife loves our dogs to death, and she has a bunch of wild birds as well. Seeing a freindly iguana for her is like putting a kid in a candy store.
