I got my 707 around the 10th of December and I don't have any reds, greens, darks, lights or any of the other problems that I see people complaining about here, (knock wood),, love it, about the only complaint I have is ,I can't get it to take GREAT pictures all the time. couldn't be me, LOL, and would like to have a bit more zoom for wildlife pix. hopefully someone will come out with a GOOD 58mm thread tele one of these days.

dave, That's great to hear, would you mind posting the build date of your 707? I and others would appreciate it very much I think. I have a work collegue picking up a 707 from LA. Thanks in advance and I wish you all the very best with your camera. HotShoey, Australia

I would tend to agree with Dave. I purchased one of his pano photos (Crater Lake) and was very pleased with the results. Knock on all the wood you want Dave...the 707 seems to be your baby. Keep up the great work and thanks again for the photo :)

Oh yeah!!! Got it framed and it looks outstanding. Have gotten great comments on it Dave. Folks can't believe that it came from a digital camera. I think we've begun a revolution. Three people in my office have bought digital cameras because of your photo and my own 707 photos that I've taken at work. Only problem now is that I'm now the resident "pro" photographer and the questions never end. Thanks a lot Dave! LOL

Now those are nice pictures, "but", is it me or do I see a major left sided dark shaded area on most of the pictures. I have been reading the forums for some time now before I purchase this camera, and you have what I think they have been talking about.

Congratulations Dave,
crater lake in winter is one hell of a photo. Wow.

Actually, if you look closely, especially at the thumbnails, you really CAN see that the left side, is in fact darker than the right. It is a bit subtile, but it definately IS noticable.
