Just some plant shots of recent times. Hope you enjoy!!

Here is a water lily taken at the oldest Botanical Gardens in the western hemisphere:



Here are some orchids taken at myfather's house around Christmas:



And here is one taken today of a nice looking, but not so nice plant. It causes skin irritations if the small thorns seen on the leaves pierce your skin, or if it is rubbed on you. Believe me I know. I have to work around them everyday!:

I love shooting plants, so I am happy to share. Alot of plants that thrive in the cooler climates don't thrive here, but there is also a flip side as alot of plants that grow here may struggle without all of that nice hot sun that we get here year round. I just have to practice more on some of the prepared shots and also get a decent macro lens.
