No, not that jthommo. Yeah, I'm up for a shoot - there's a healthy Flickr group here in Canberra as well - some fine photographers in it as well so less with the single brand zealotry.

Fair enough. I haven't tried using Flikr, I should explore it a bit more.

That shot was with the Ds at 100mm so it was a 100% crop.

Yeah the weather looks bad for tonight.....

Last night was technically one of the last nights to see it, but i think it will be visible next week too. It was just so bright last night and visible much higher in the sky in darker conditions thus the huge tail we managed to all see.

Much better than the 15th of January which was the last time i saw it and touted as the best night to see it!

As for Canberra shoot, i'm up for it. Theres at least 4 of us in this thread and a few other i can think of. Maybe 7 Canberra Pentaxians on here......

As for a location and time, well i know jthommo suggested a comet shoot but its so hard to plan given weather conditions.

Obviously doesn't have to be just pentax users but its goods to be able to talk about the same lenses and equipment and compare each others cameras/lenses. not so good for LBA.
