I got a used 5' Photoflex Octodome and use it the first time. I like it very much. I also used AB 22" beauty dish as fill, Photoflex med softbox with grid for hair.

C&C welcome.

Thanks

Keith

The windswept hair really adds to some of these images, especially the first one. Exposure and lighting seem perfect.

I never join spectrum workshop. I don't think Glen use Alien Bees and Photoflex. Isn't he used Speedtron with Chimera? But I rent his studio. You remmebered the bed and the red well, isn't it? :-) This is my second time shoot there.

These are from my first time in spectrum with my Alien Bees:

Cheers,

Keith
Spectrum workshop, looks like?

Mark

Hey Mark, small world always. I have shoot with Aisha for awhile, a wonderful markup artist. :-)

Cheers,

Keith
yep, recognized the bed / red wall.

Also, Paz isn't it? And the eyelashes... Aisha Couture is your mua. :)

Yeah, I'd be about where you are if my wife let me shoot real models. This hype about having the right equipment or decent technique is rediculous. You only need great models and the rest just happens naturally. LOL

Very nice indeed.

I didn't take the setup shoot or diagram.

I did few different setup for the shoot, but end up with the following:

The first 3 pics are same setup:

AB400 with 5' Octodome on my right (around 45 degree and 4 feets from the model and 30 degree downward). AB400 with beauty Dish just about at my left hand and 1 feet behind me. AB800 with Photoflex med multidome with grid on the doom up behind the model tile forward to point to model's hair. The shooting area is in the corner, I can only place the light on one side. I also place the background light (AB1600 with 45" umbrella, full power) behind the boom stand. For the first pic, I just turn off the AB1600.

Cheers,

Keith
Great pictures! Love every single one of them.

Do you mind share some setup pictures, or some setup diagram? I am
new to lighting and really have to get started :)

Thanks a lot

Oh, my wife didn't know I got my Nikon D2x. :-)

Finding a great models are frutrating..... even the so-so model didn't show up and you setting in the rental studio with your MUA waiting.... Models don't just come to you when you have the gears. They only come when they like your pics. :-)

Cheers,

Keith

lol...

did you get your Hensel stuff for your dogs only. ??

Cheers,

Keith
sure, but with one danger, if I were to shoot real models, I might
testicle re-attachment surgery.
But oh well, nothing beats a real glamour/fashion shoot with my
dogs, right:-((
