So those are F22's? look just a bit like the F18's, don't they? Very cool shots. Checked your page, MOST impressive. Thanks for the post !

Those are definitely F-22s. The flat belly and the shape of the wings give them away.

I saw the fly over on tv and thought there goes about 3 billion $$ worth of technology.. That's about 2 1/2 million 30D's but that probably wouldn't qualify for the current Canon rebate..

What's more amazing to me is that F22 has been in development for 20 years and the documentary about it..

I agree.

Is it any wonder that the citizens of Nevada (where the stealth fighters and bombers were developed and tested) have been reporting UFO sightings for years??

I think....Therefore I am.

Indeed F-22's and a B-2.

Now I hope they will fly on to Europe for us to make some nice pictures. That's (mil. aircraft) why I've spend my money on my photogear. Considering the pictures in the next link, I've no regrets.

enjoy and let's do some more sharing.

I watched the parade on TV. At some point the announcer mentioned that the stealth bomber was flying past accompanied by the F-22s. I looked, but I didn't see the bomber. It was really weird. All you could see was the streamers behind the F-22s. The vantage point was from high up -- probably from the Goodyear blimp. I did see it when they replayed the clip later.

Great photos sirthx.

I too was in the area (by the Arroyo Seco), but not on the parade route, hoping the B2 would fly over the Arroyo, as it has in the past. Unfortunately, it did not. So my shot is from a distance, almost in the sunrise. Here it is

Now, for the afternoon game, the four F16s did fly over the Arroyo and I got a good shot at them.

Awesome shot of the F-16s. Really great!

Thanks Sirthx.

BTW, I really love the details in the belly of the B2 on your third photo. One can almost read the text on what I think are the doors covering the retracted main gears.

My shots of the B2 were when they were circling overhead awaiting the start of the parade. Nothing comes close to the superb shots you took.

Thanks! You actually CAN read the fine print on the bottom at 100%. I live in Burbank and every year they fly over my house (at a much higher altitude) so this year I swore I would go down there. I walked out into the middle of Colorado Blvd as they flew directly over-head. It really was an unbelievable thing!!
