Does anyone have a recommendation for a fast, efficient and compact photo viewer program for PC? I was using Faststone, but it now takes up to 8 seconds from double-clicking on an image to it actually appearing. It's a shame, as it is pretty compact, if only it were a bit faster.

I think they should rename it to SlowStone ;)

Try IrfanView and XnView. However you'll miss that exceptional user interface of FastStone.
