I've just returned from a Caribbean sailing on the Queen Mary 2. I took over 800 pix with my new 612. Also took my 6490 as a backup. Didn't need to use it. The 612 is a champ. Here are a few pix of the ship.

Thx for sharing the QM2 photos. It is one of my favorite liner. Very nice pics especially the 1st one.

There were over 2000 people on this sailing.... but the ship is so big that there is plenty of room for all. Glad you liked my shots. I tried to find interesting angles and curves too.
 
Thanks Pam, I have many more to share if that is OK with everyone on this board. We spent a night on Queen Mary (the first) which is a hotel now in Long Beach. Getting hubby on another ship was a trick, but he wanted to sail on QM2 as it is a real ocean liner, not a cruise ship. We both loved it.

Thanks! I am so glad I got that first shot. I thought I'd have more opportunities to shoot QM2 from the front, but it wasn't possible at the ports. I have a thing about symmetry and tried to make this shot very symmetical.
