2007 Dare Fest

To bring some spice to the dark winter nights, I was thinking that it would be fun to challenge each other to take photos outside our normal comfort areas.

So we dare a specific member a few weeks to come up with photos of a specific topic/theme. The selected member then can challenge someone else, etc.

For instance I want to start this off by daring Marion/OTD to come up with some abstract photos involving Christmas lights.

After Marion has shown his work, then he can pick someone else. Maybe he can dare Hutchman to take indoor pictures without flash.

Then Hutchman could dare Marti58 to take pictures of dogs.

And so on ...

So Marion, I will start this ball rolling to dare you to come up with some abstract photos involving Christmas lights. These pictures have to be taken during the challenge - you can't go back to your archive.

I sure do like you, Marion. You have been a great help to me and have been very encouraging.

The dare had to start with someone, and you happen to be the person I know best on STF.

Aslo, you must know the saying "when you want something done, always ask the busiest person and it will get done" (something like that).

Your deadline is when the Christmas lights are no longer out and about. Maximum of 3 pictures, minimum of 1!!!!

Reminder: it has to be a new photo as of today.

No shortcircuiting this process either!! Christmas lights as in those lights that you string around your porch and on your tree - not sunlight/sunset.

btw to reveal a secret.. i already got a N*kon coming my way.

right now i'm not very active with digital as i'm doing a lot of B & W film.

with my older camera's.
