does anybody know how he did this?

FYI, it's standard procedure is to put a warning when linking to sites with nudity. To answer your question, search this forum for the term "high key". There are many threads on the subject.

Probably - made it grayscale, then in PS - raised the RGB curve upward.

Select a point on curve about one third down and pull upward.
Play around with that.

you can mask out areas that need to stay dark.

First you need a gorgeous model like that. Second, you need composition skills like Sascha (the crop, pose & lightning are perfect IMHO). And third and least important, you need a white backdrop and a high key tut as some readers said.

That image is an old time favorite.

Make sure you have a good base, it already starts with a good exposure, so in this case slightly overexposed (moves the white further white)...you don't get souch nice results only with Photoshop. Just like analogue films it's all in your base

make sure the backdrop doesn't flare by the way so make sure the background is max +1 stop than foreground (for digital camer'as, for analogue it can go up to max +2, depending on what type of film)

to give it a finishing touch try to maintain detail in the pure white bits

make always sure that there are black elements in your photograph to keep it fresh looking

Hi,

It isn't really that difficult but technically this is a very skilled shot. To my eye, though, the composition is a bit too complex. Having said that I would have liked to have taken it.

A digital infra-red camera helps but, with good exposure and mostly curve adjustment layers, good results may be obtained.

Some of my female figure work (nude) is at

and there are some high key shots amongst them. I hope you enjoy these.
